Welcome to the website of the Aerial Robotics Research Facility led by Prof. Kyuman Lee. Our lab is part of the Department of Robot and Smart System Engineering at Kyungpook National University (KNU). Our goal is to research the fundamental challenges of intelligent aerial robots and future air mobility that will benefit all humanity. The main mission of our lab is to develop intelligent, reliable, and fully autonomy solutions for aerial robotics in dynamic, complex, and uncooperative environments. To achieve this mission, we focus on the following research areas: computer vision and robot perception for extreme environments; autonomous guidance, navigation, and control for unmanned robots; and autonomy for multi-robot systems. Our lab will create a paradigm for future studies of the evolution of robotics and smart systems.
